GLEAM verströmt Indie-Charme mit Pop-Appeal. Die Songs erzählen vom Suchen, Zweifeln, Wachsen – und davon, sich nicht verbiegen zu lassen. Dabei steht die künstlerische Freiheit im Vordergrund. Von balladig über rockig bis hin zu rhythmisch komplex, all das kann GLEAM. Eingebettet in akustische, auf das Wesentliche reduzierte Arrangements, verschmelzen die Elemente zu einem kontrastreichen, emotionalen Sound.
Der Gesang von Anja Tibutt erzeugt im Zusammenspiel mit Martina Prutscher, die für Komposition, Text und Produktion verantwortlich ist, einen unverwechselbaren Gesamtklang. Unabhängig von Trends und Mainstream-Erwartungen verfolgt die Band konsequent einen eigenen musikalischen Weg.
Das Projekt der Münchner Musikerin Martina Prutscher zeigt mutige Vorwärtsgewandtheit. Als Pianistin und Percussionistin schreibt sie Songs über das Menschsein mit all seinen Facetten. Nicht nur live, sondern auch bei der Produktion der Songs arbeitet sie bewusst mit echten Menschen, die echte Instrumente spielen. Abseits von KI-generierter Fließband-Musik.
In atmosphärischen Dichte beweist GLEAM, dass sich Zartheit und Kraft gegenseitig nicht ausschließen.

„Coup De Coeur! That’s the word that comes to my mind, when I think about my encounter with GLEAM. To me the band represents everything that made me want to sing, compose, and simply make music.
I grew up in an environment where ’80s and ’90s Pop, Soul, Funk, Rock, Reggae were everywhere, thanks to my older brothers and their friends. And our family home was a gathering place for them. Listening to GLEAM play, took me right back to that world. I was completely swept away. Those melodies talked to me and touched me deeply.
I was absolutely convinced that it was that piano playing—the emotions it evoked—that was exactly what I have always been looking for. I don’t know where this will lead. But I already know, for me personally, this is leading to an unexpected journey full of emotions and positive energy.
All of this just happened so naturally. I wasn’t expecting to have such a wonderful encounter. Martina’s piano and her voice transported me on what felt like an „endless journey“. Not to mention, of course, Anja’s magnificent singing, which makes it all even more sublime.“
